Mr Kostas Petropoulos acquired his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Informatics & Telecommunications Department of the University of Athens in 1993 and subsequently continued at Ph.D. level on Parallel Algorithms for Graph Theoretic problems, in Computers Engineering dept of National Technical University of Athens. During the period from 1994 to 1999 he has worked as researcher at the National Documentation Centre of the National Hellenic Research Foundation where he participated in several EU and National Research projects (NAP, VALUE, MIDAS-NET, HIRC, MS-STUDY). From 1997 to 1999 he has served as National Contact Point for the 4th and 5th European Framework Programs for Research and Development ESPRIT-4, IST, INFO2000 and MLIS.

Since 1999 he actively participated in the design, development and delivery of numerous large-scale IT projects in Greece, Cyprus and abroad. Since 2016, he is the technical director of iKnowHow Healthcare IT BU participating in the design and development of SW applications in the field of e-Health such as the company's RIS/PACS Evorad product suite, BI-Health etc.
